This Mardale Special Edition Permar 2 Jacket is a UK forces collaborated design, (Used by the Royal Marines) Fleece collar & lined pockets, Side ventilation zips, Comes with stuff sac, Reinforced elbows, Adjustable collar & hem. Pertex 6 outer and lining, Synthetic, highly thermal filling.

This jacket weighs in at approx 1.2 Kg and will protect down to -22 Degrees Centigrade. It takes around 15 minutes to warm you up from cold outside and then it is very toasty. It is not a big Jacket, it is quite thin, so fits well under a combat jacket or smock, ideal for those long shifts in an OP.

Known to have saved a soldier from getting frostbite in his toes, by wrapping his feet in it, and also saved 6 men out of 31 from going down with hypothermia who were wearing this very jacket.
